This is the time of year when a late frost could spell disaster so we are watching the weather carefully. We are planting this year knowing another drought season could happen. The vegetables, herbs, flowers and spices we are planting have been evaluated for their ability to survive on reduced water if necessary,
Soon we will have plenty of organic produce to put on the table at the Horseradish Grill. We are hard at work in the garden. Our manure just arrived and our compost is being enriched. Our organic gardener tells us the type of weeds we have indicate the soil is healthy. The lettuce, tomatoes, herbs and more are in the seedling stage and will be planted shortly.
